The Explorer is a multifunctional lifestyle shoe that bridges the gap between city and outdoor environments. Designed with the challenging Nordic weather conditions in mind, they are stylish enough for the streets, yet functional enough for a stroll in nature.

Tarvas work on and refine footwear silhouettes inspired by the Nordic climate and timeless style. The thinking was: if it works here, it’ll work anywhere.

The shoes are produced locally from EU sourced materials – it’s a combination of a basement workshop in Helsinki and a rural factory in the middle of the woods.

True to the same philosophy that we believe in, they make the shoes authentic and premium, making sure they look good, last, and keep your feet happy.

Tarvas use a reasonably narrow last and are true to size in length.
